Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Role Overview:
As an intern as a Controls Engineering Assistant, you will work closely with our Controls Engineer to support various projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing processes. You'll have the opportunity to delve into the world of Allen Bradley and Ignition systems, gaining invaluable experience in system design, development, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of control systems.
- Support troubleshooting and maintenance activities for existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve process efficiency and reliability.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated interest in industrial automation and control systems.
- Basic understanding of Allen Bradley PLCs and Ignition SCADA systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering quality results within project timelines.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.
