Summary of Job Duties:
The Instructor will build a strong and successful academic career and significantly contribute to the discipline, department, and the College of Medicine.
Qualifications:- Ph.D, M.D., or equivalent required.
- Arkansas medical licensure.
- Successful completion in a pediatric residency program.
- Focused training in Cardiology.
Responsibilities:- Attend inpatient morning report each morning.
- Organize Pediatric Interest Group (PedsIG) events.
- Attend and participate in one of the class retreats.
- Serve as ward attending for up to four weeks on one of the general ward teams.
- Develop a master schedule with the incoming chiefs for the next year.
- Participate in various committees and attend and participate in House Staff Office meetings.
- Participate in one scholarly activity of your choice throughout the year.
- Attend regularly at Grand Rounds.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the needs of the children of Arkansas are being met.
