Instructor - Physical Therapy jobs in Nevada

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller with Physical Therapy knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical revnenue cycle proficiency including authorization, billing and coding, and payment collections and posting.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize medical billing software to submit claims to insurance companies
- Review and verify accuracy of billing and coding
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Resolve billing issues and discrepancies
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Skills:

- Proficiency in EHR billing systems
- Knowledge of physical therapy billing and reimbursement guidelines
- Familiarity with medical records, ICD-10, and CPT coding

- Experience with insurance authorization and verification
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Experience in a medical office setting
- Ability to handle medical collections effectively

- Natural customer service skills with a smile.
