Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Physics typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Visiting Instructor of Physics
ABOUT THIS POSITION
Summary: The Visiting Instructor of Physics is responsible for teaching lower division physics and/or astronomy courses for science and liberal arts majors. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester.
Required Qualifications:

M.S. in physics or a closely related discipline by Summer 2023.
- Effectiveness in teaching and creating a positive learning environment.
- Enthusiasm for working with and inspiring undergraduate students.

Ability to communicate and work collaboratively and collegially with colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:

Enthusiasm for teaching all introductory physics and astronomy classes.
