Interior Designer | High-end Residential

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate, detail-oriented, and collaborative Interior Designer to join a talented team publicized regionally and nationally from Coastal Living to Mountain Living, including recognitions of “top designers”. As the Interior Designer, you are a vital component of the collaborative team project managing, leading construction scheduling, pricing furniture, working with vendors, and making design presentations for projects. Allow your passion for design to shine as you project manage and support in producing high-end residential design projects with the team. Leverage your design and project management expertise to deliver exceptional client experience and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design is preferred.
• 4-6 years of professional experience in the architecture and interior design industry, focusing on high-end residential design
• Strong abilities in AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT; Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Experience with Interior Design Business Software like Studio Designer (or similar)
• Experience with purchasing and budgets.
• Experience selecting and specifying lighting, furnishings, hardware, floor/window coverings, materials, and finishes.
• Ability to create a set of construction drawings, specifications, and schedule
• Ability to create and manage Excel spreadsheets
• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn timekeeping and billing software
• Ability to interact effectively with the design team on multiple projects and exhibit leadership qualities at all times for team members.
• Excellent presentation skills, including space planning and drawing
• Knowledge of trade resources and vendors
