International Compliance Manager plans and directs the corporation's comprehensive ethics, business conduct and compliance activities for all international operations under senior management direction. Directs the development and implementation of processes, procedures and systems to meet the entities' compliance activities and reporting requirements. Being an International Compliance Manager oversees the organization's compliance risk management program to assess, prioritize and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks based on the standards of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines as related to the international operating units. Consults with and provides guidance and direction to the international operating company's senior executive in all aspects of the entity's ethics, business conduct and compliance program. Additionally, International Compliance Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The International Compliance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an International Compliance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. International Trade Compliance Analyst II (Hybrid)

  • Job Description
    • Individual should have a familiarity with the current Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Individual will be responsible for administration of ITAR and EAR license applications and agreements, exemptions, and exceptions. Coordinate Export and Imports shipments in accordance with BAE Systems policy and U.S. Government export regulations and laws.
    • Prepares, submits and administers export license applications, technical assistance agreements, and other authorizations. Ensures compliance with approved authorizations.
    • Coordinates with program personnel to obtain export/import application information, review provisos/riders on licenses and agreements to ensure business and customer requirements can be met by the license or agreement.
    • Approves foreign travel and foreign visitors.
    • Participates in the investigation of any aspect of proposed export, temporary export, or temporary import by the Company to verify the legality of any transactions and the accuracy of the information.
    • Participates in the development and presentation of export related training materials.
    • Provides BAE Systems and/or government agencies with any required assistance or information needed during the review of license application.
    • Maintains export related record keeping functions for the Company as required by law.
    • Participates in conducting internal compliance audits on a periodic basis.
    • Maintains export licensing records in OCR EASE and/or other databases used for storing and tracking BAE Systems export licensing history and other reviews/approvals. When requested, prepares and distributes periodic reports on licensing status for use by Company personnel.
    • Applicant must be detail oriented, have good writing skills, and have good organization/communication skills.
    • Position to include air travel to various export conferences and required training.
    This is a hybrid position with some in-office presence in any of the following locations: Arlington, VA; Austin, TX; Cedar Rapids, IA, Endicott, NY; Fort Wayne, IN; Greenlawn, NY; Nashua, NH; Reston, VA; or Wayne, NJ

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Experience/Education Requirements: 8 years with HS Diploma; 4 years with AA; 2 years with BS; 0 years with MS
    • Applicant must be detail oriented, have good writing skills, and have good organization/communication skills.
    • Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate report and documents; make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.






    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Experience with ITAR/EAR.
    • Experience with OCR, EASE, Global Trade Management Software.


    Pay Information
    Full-Time Salary Range: $64130 - $109010

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
