The HR Manager will be responsible for:
- Performing full-cycle HR- recruitment, hiring, new hire orientations and separations
- Understanding and communicating AstenJohnson’s benefit programs, policies and the compliance of both to all levels of employees
- Employee relations management
- Providing instruction and assistance with Development, Performance Reviews and Succession plans
- Responsible for the coordination of training activities
- Maintaining employee personnel and medical files
- Ensuring compliance with legislation & regulatory statutes
- Processing and running the payroll for all hourly associates at the site
- Maintaining records for applicable reimbursement of safety shoes, glasses, health promotions, etc.
- Administration of all WC, FMLA and disability claims
- Coordinating events for business, employee engagement and other purposes
Education/Experience/Certification
- 5 years of HR experience; Degree in relevant field a plus
- PHR or SHRM certification a plus
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- Knowledge and experience with HCM systems, particularly Ceridian Dayforce, highly desirable
