Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web develops, implements, and maintains web-based application systems for an organization. Troubleshoots issues with existing or developed systems, and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them. Being an Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web may require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., HTML, Java, etc.). Additionally, Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. What will you be doing?
This is a hands-on administrative role, which is also expected to contribute to the strategic planning and technical day-to-day escalation activities of the team for EBS applications running in WWT data centers, and Oracle Cloud Fusion modules located in Oracle’s Cloud SaaS platform. The candidate will function as a subject matter expert for the ERP team, providing input and technical direction for Oracle EBS R12.2/Oracle Cloud Fusion products. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment at a strategic level, as well as balancing day to day hands-on technical activities.

- Maintaining technical relevance on Oracle E-Business Suite and Cloud Fusion products over their product release lifecycles
- Troubleshooting complex functional and technical incidents occurring within the various applications
- Perform production level support, and be part of the 24x7 on-call rotation per published schedule
- Familiarity with Oracle Exadata and OCI platforms
- Manage and maintain Oracle EBS environments.
- Maintaining and improving end-to-end monitoring of the platforms for both performance and availability
- Maintaining technical documentation that supports the various systems
- Identifying and collecting key performance metrics (KPIs) to help the DBA team better understand its product and how it relates to its customers and stakeholders experience.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with vendors
- Working with project teams as required to design technical solutions to address project requirements
- Managing and balancing conflicting internal customer needs on the ERP systems.
- Guiding the work of more junior administrators to assist in accomplishing tasks
- Ability to work with team members located in multiple geographies and time zones.
- Being able to objectively look at problems and create innovative solutions on your own through automation and outside the box thinking

- Consistently demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capability to present on topics that mentor others.
- Bachelor’s degree related to Computer Science/Information Systems is preferred OR equivalent working experience administering Oracle eBusiness Suite
- Minimum of 6 years of Oracle EBS 12.2 administration experience
- Fusion Cloud experience
- Familiarity with the principles, methods, and techniques used in ERP systems administration and ability to use relevant hardware and software.
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or Engineering
- Oracle high availability (RAC, DataGuard)
- Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, GTM, EPM)
- Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2 )
- 19c RAC or above core database experience
- Proficient with Linux operating system, specifically Redhat Enterprise Linux.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Terraform, Perl, Python, Bash, etc.
- Familiarity with Agile principals and methodology
- Experience with a ticket system such as Service Now or like system
