Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web develops, implements, and maintains web-based application systems for an organization. Troubleshoots issues with existing or developed systems, and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them. Being an Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web may require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., HTML, Java, etc.). Additionally, Intranet Applications Specialist, Sr. - Web relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Basic Qualifications
8 years of experience on large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding exposure to two or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, C/C , C#, Swift, Node.js, Python, Go, or Ruby;
5 years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles and technical leadership;
Experience in architecting, designing and programming applications in an AWS Cloud environment, with serverless and containers.
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish or Portuguese, in technical and business settings (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading projects in Refactoring, Re-writing and Decoupling applications;
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD);
Experience with designing and building distributed applications with Hybrid Architectures for high available, secure and reliable systems.
Experience with configuration management platforms (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible) and hands on familiarity with Infra as a code;
