**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our team. The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services essential for our organization's operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively with suppliers. A knowledge of personal protective wear and other industrial safety products is prefered but not required.

**Duties:**

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings

- Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment

- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and identify supply needs

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role

- Familiarity with price negotiation

- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles

- Ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Nice-to-Have Skills:**

- Experience with Materials Management and E-commerce platforms

- Ability to sell surplus or obsolete materials effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $33,000.00 per year
