JOB DESCRIPTION
We are hiring an Assistant Buyer to oversee the product selection, ordering, inventory and pricing maintenance for our busy clothing and gear departments in our Outdoor Gear Shop. The Assistant Buyer will work closely with our current buyer and will also assist in the daily as well as our busy retail space.
Some responsibilities include data entry in inventory system, selecting, purchasing and replacing appropriate merchandise for our retail space, with the guidance of our Buyer. Building purchase orders, price management and maintaining and monitoring inventory levels. The position requires strong organizational skills and applicants must be detail-oriented. A general interest in outdoor gear current trends is helpful.
