Investment Portfolio Manager, Sr. jobs in North Dakota

Our client, an investment company that invests in companies in the service sector and develops them further through a clear acquisition strategy, is looking for an Investment Manager to join their team in Munich, Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility as “deal captain” with very high deal flow through clear acquisition strategies
• Analysis and interpretation of financial indicators, including investment track records/annual financial statements and preparation of valuation analyses using various valuation methods
• Financial modelling, including leveraged acquisitions and cash flow analysis
• Management meetings with potential platforms and add-ons and organization of ongoing due diligence reviews
• Close cooperation with the portfolio company’s management; preparation of and participation in meetings with managers
• Support of monthly/quarterly reporting to the Investment Committee and investors Participation in Advisory Board meetings
• Network maintenance with M&A consultants and other multipliers
• Attending industry events on behalf of the company
• Leading juniors in transactions and other day-to-day tasks

Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience, including at least 4-5 years in private equity in the DACH market - experience with transactions in the small / mid market and ideally several years in the field of auditing, etc.
• Proven success in the PE environment, also in portfolio management
• Excellent academic background with a relevant degree in economics/finance
• Excellent analytical and negotiating skills
• Entrepreneurial thinking and action as well as a very independent way of working
• Down-to-earth and communicating at eye level, team player
• Fluent in German
• very good knowledge of English
• Proficient in using MS Office
