Investment Specialist analyzes and researches financial markets, securities, and investment products to assess risks, evaluate potential returns, and make informed investment decisions for an organization. Collects and researches economic data, financial metrics, and market conditions to develop and build financial models, forecasts, and investment strategies. Being an Investment Specialist monitors and analyzes portfolio performance, asset allocation, and risk exposure to ensure alignment with the organization's investment objectives, strategies, and risk tolerance levels. Prepares investment reports and analyses on investment opportunities or strategies to identify trends and recommend actions for the organization. Additionally, Investment Specialist utilizes mathematical formulas and statistical analyses to identify potential or alternative investments and calculate and evaluate financial health, returns, and fair value of securities, assets, or other investments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Investment Specialist work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support:

- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Handle correspondence and communication on behalf of leadership
- Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication between project team members, subcontractors, and other relevant parties
- Assist in managing the company’s communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and announcements
- Respond to inquiries and provide timely updates on project progress
- Create promotional materials and internal communications to generate excitement and participation for company news, events, etc. Including social media channels.
- Utilize various communication channels to keep employees informed about upcoming events
- Event Planning and Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and execute company events, including but not limited to team-building activities, celebrations, and conferences
- Coordinate logistics for events, such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and transportation
- Meeting Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings, ensuring the availability of key team members
- Document meeting minutes and action items for distribution
- Human Resources Assistance:
- Support HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining personnel records
- Assist in coordinating training programs for the team
- Ability to communicate at a high level, show good judgement and think critically to solve problems
- 2 years experience in administrative support roles
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
- Learner’s attitude. Professional. Sound Judgement.
