Accountant/Office Manager – Part Time

Responsibilities:
· Day-to-day administration of office functionality, including maintaining supplies, answering and routing phone calls, incoming and outgoing mail, interface with various office vendors, other duties as needed.
· Using QuickBooks, bookkeeping, and accounting for Investor Advisory group and four small, related entities. Involves small payroll processing and reporting, intercompany funds transfers and underlying worksheets, reconciliations, and interface with CPA on accounting and tax matters.
· Primary interface with IT contractor to assure functionality and security of technology. Liaison with IT contractor on technology needs as they change or need upgrade.
· Maintain records electronically using a One-Drive based cloud filing system.
· Maintain Client Relationship Management database and utilize tools within to create specialized reports.
· Supportive services in client matters such as tracking Required Minimum Distributions and other needs as they arise.
· Preparing mailings for client Quarterly reports and annual Company Open House.
· Some interface with Regulatory agencies and funding of fees assessed. Maintenance of Compliance mandated employee/advisor report files.
· Update and assemble the IAG brochure annually.
Required Skills and Experience:
· Experienced with QuickBooks and knowledgeable of accounting theories and objectives.
· Experienced with payroll and payroll reporting.
· Experienced with MS Office products, especially Excel, Outlook, Word and One-Drive.
· Experience managing digital/cloud-based filing system.
· Ability to acclimate to new and advanced technologies.
Beneficial Skills and Experience:
· Comfortable implementing/learning new technologies.
· Exposure to the Financial industry.
· Understanding of Data Base protocols.
· Some acquaintance with regulatory agencies, preferably in the financial sector.
· Experience with the process of filing business tax returns.
