IT Contracts Manager creates, writes, negotiates and reviews hardware or software licensing contracts. Works with the Business Development team in establishing agreements that reflect the interests of partners and the company. Being an IT Contracts Manager also works with legal counsel when drafting licensing agreements. Ensures contract performance and rewrites or amends as necessary. Additionally, IT Contracts Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Must have a solid understanding of web technology. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Contracts Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Key Responsibilities
    • Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
    • Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
    • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
    • Construct and implement plans to ensure the company’s network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem.
    • Work closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network
    • Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
    • Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
    • Conduct routine and scheduled audits of systems, including all backups, to ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices.
    • Supervise IT support staff, delegate any operations and programming activities and functions regularly.


    Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems or other appropriate discipline, with study in business management desirable, plus 5 years of relevant technical and management experience, or combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
    • Expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations
    • In-depth understanding of programming, computer science and digital security
    • A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture
    • Good communication, including writing, speaking and active listening
    • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
    • Advanced leadership and conflict management skills
    • Customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Great project management skills, including organization, planning, time management and prioritization
