- Spearhead the annual planning process for the Construction Division to ensure timely and accurate completion of the consolidated annual plan.
- Develop a strategic financial roadmap for the business sector in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Provide oversight to the Accounting team to ensure alignment with company objectives and deadlines.
- Contribute to the development of the annual Finance department budget and manage expenditures accordingly.
- Continuously evaluate financial systems, processes, and procedures, implementing improvements as needed.
- Lead or support cross-functional projects based on business needs and individual expertise.
- Proficiency with financial concepts and practices, with a keen eye for detail.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS tax code regulations as they apply to financial operations.
- Process-oriented mindset, dedicated to optimizing business efficiencies and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, including team leadership skills.
- Experience with project management fundamentals and effective communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance required; CPA highly desired.
- 5-8 years of experience in Construction accounting within a multi-entity environment preferred.
- Experience in federal contracting required.
- Familiarity with Vista Viewpoint software preferred.
