Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team that will lead the procurement for all corporate functions (IT, HR, Legal, Finance)
- Develop and implement sourcing strategy to keep contracts and offerings competitive for the corporate functions
- Lead sustainable procurement for the company including partnering with Director of Sustainability and representing AdvanSix in external organizations such as Together for Sustainability (TfS)
- Oversee tactical purchasing for all corporate functions, including the issuance of purchase orders and/or payment of invoices
- Negotiate with suppliers to draw up procurement contracts; includes the negotiation, administration, extending, termination, and renegotiation of contracts
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations
- Lead continuous improvement opportunities to improve upon total cost and address issues with supplier performance
- Create and manage metrics necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and the company's competitiveness
Requirements
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
