We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our operation.
Responsibilities: As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the precision, accuracy, and reliability of raw material, manufactured precision components, and equipment. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Inspecting and approving raw materials upon arrival.
- Conducting thorough inspections of small diameter parts using various inspection tools, with a focus on maintaining tight tolerances and specifications.
- Utilizing precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and Keyence Vision System to perform accurate inspections and measurements.
- Collaborating closely with the production team to identify, address, and rectify any quality-related issues in real-time.
- Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards.
- Documenting inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions in a clear and organized manner.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of Keyence Vision System operation and leveraging it to enhance inspection efficiency and accuracy.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to the overall enhancement of product quality.
- Communicating effectively with team members and management regarding inspection findings and quality concerns.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the quality control process and participating in training programs as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in precision machining or quality control is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a CNC machining environment.
- Strong proficiency in using precision measurement tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with and ability to program Keyence Vision System is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T symbols.
- Excellent attention to detail and an aptitude for identifying subtle defects.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and report inspection results.
- Problem-solving abilities to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Familiarity with ISO quality standards and quality management systems.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
