Position Summary: Hybrid role of project and field services management. Accountable for field service schedules, budgets, logistics, etc., as well as assisting with ERP management of projects and coordination with all departments. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Field Services Project Manager:

· Adheres to Goebel’s Core Values and all safety and quality requirements

· Responsible for scheduling installation supervisors and crews in accordance with project schedules

· Responsible for initiating out of shop new hire process (medical screening and background checks)

· Responsible for getting appropriate tool lists entered in ERP and coordinating with shipping for delivery to site

· Responsible for managing inventory and maintenance of installation tools

· Initiate installation subcontracting needs including requesting quotes and making recommendations

· Manage subcontract installation upon approval of contract

· Evaluate and report site labor and supervision costs associated to each project weekly

· Hold supervisors accountable for budget attainment including processing of field tickets

· Approval of installation supervisor travel requests and expense report as directed by manager

· Coordinate with project teams for all site logistical needs 

· Responsible for full understanding of contract documents as it relates to site work and requirements

· Request COI’s where applicable

· Perform small project installations as needed

· Travel to job sites for safety and progress/quality checks when necessary

· Maintain jobsite boxes and first aid kits

· Support weekly activities of Installation Teams

· Assist project teams with all aspects of project management as capacity and workloads dictate

· Coordination of activities of project to ensure progress is on schedule and is within prescribed budget

· Creation of sales orders, projects, and work orders within MRP/ERP system from quotations

· Direct coordination with Procurement Team for all long lead time materials to accommodate project schedule

· Coordination of the creation, submittal, and approval of finish samples

· Request COI’s where applicable

· Promote safety awareness to all field services employees and throughout the organization

· Ensure that all quality expectations are being met 

· Continuously look for ways to gain efficiency and save costs

· Effectively and professionally communicate inside and outside the organization

· Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by manager

Requirements

 · Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent experience required

· 3-5 years of experience in architectural millwork or store fixture industry

· Experience with millwork installation required

· Proficient computer skills in MS Office, Project, and Project Management programs (MRP/ERP)

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to read and understand bid documents, specifications, spreadsheets, shop drawings and blueprints is mandatory

· Ability to travel 25%-50% of the time while maintaining office responsibilities

· Excellent technical skills and knowledge of store fixtures and/or architectural millwork

· Possess good analytical skills with a strong attention to detail

· Individual must be a motivated team player that can add value to a team environment

· Ability to work with minimum supervision; possess self-discipline with the ability to effectively prioritize

· Ability to think creatively and apply ingenuity to problem solving and cost saving
