Job Developer supports social services clients in job searching and placement. Establishes and maintains working relationships with employers, industry organizations, and public agencies to source job openings and secure employment and vocational training opportunities for clients. Being a Job Developer evaluates individual's background, skills, and interest and matches to potential job openings or training programs. Coaches and prepares candidate for interview and entry into the workforce. Additionally, Job Developer may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Job Developer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Job Developer is responsible for securing contracted work opportunities for individuals with disabilities and then helping to maintain relationships with those business partners.
The Job Developer actively works with a team of program staff to ensure vocational needs are identified and addressed, and also works to develop an understanding of the skills and abilities of the individuals served to assist with appropriate vocational matches.

Schedule & Compensation:
This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position with flexible daytime hours. Some evenings may be required for networking events.
Starting wage is $19.40 per hour.
