Being a Laboratory Courier is responsible for maintenance and care of vehicle. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Laboratory Courier must be licensed to operate a vehicle. Licensing requirements depend on the state. Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Laboratory Courier may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Client Services professional to join our team.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Answers or directs client calls to the proper department or person
- Schedules procedures and notifies the proper staff
- Troubleshoots client issues or problems
- Processes bone marrow specimens received in the laboratory
- Sends specimens to referral laboratories for additional testing
- Files surgical and cytology slides
- Distributes Mail to proper departments
- Serves as the point of contact for all pathologist needs
Experience:
Prior laboratory experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
