Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated LIVE IN Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential facility, specializing in transitional housing/sober living/emergency housing for women. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional support to residents while overseeing daily household management. The candidate will assist in opening and set up of a luxury, high end, women's only group home, situate on a rural property on 72 acres. This position will be considered part-time, contract position. Compensation includes room and board and a small stipend based on filled beds. Candidate will be permitted to have other employment so long as duties can be satisfactorily performed. This will be a women's only home strict oversight of visitors for the safety of all residents. Responsibilities:
- Manage household activities such as shopping, inventory, routine maintenance, chore schedules, coordinating handyman and vendor appointments and more
-Enforce house rules fairly, efficiently and consistently including administering drug and alcohol testing
-Oversee up to 12 residents, act as liaison between residents and owners, onboard new residents, act as leader/den mother, set the tone and culture of the household
- Implement and monitor individualized care plans for residents, including behavior management and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Coordinate and oversee social activities and programs for residents
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Provide support and guidance to residents
- Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of life for residents
Skills:
- Experience in a management position, senior care, assisted living, or a related field ideal but not required
- Strong ethical values, absolute sobriety, strong sense of responsibility
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on compassion and empathy
- Ability to perform all basic daily tasks associated with independent living competently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license for transportation needs
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices and/or recovery programs a plus
-Previous residential management experience a plus
-Space for some children, however, this is a women's only facility and adult men are not permitted
Requirements:
-Minimum amount of verifiable sobriety if in recovery
-Absolute sobriety at all times
-Valid drivers license/insurability
-Ability to reside overnight in the home every night until routines and systems are established and thereafter, reside a minimum amount of nights per week
-Ability to perform all necessary tasks within the curfew hours
-No history of violent offenses, SO/SA or arson offenses
-Possess basic computer and smart phone skills
-Possess effective time management skills and above average organizational skills
