Landscape Architect Manager supervises all related activities of a staff of landscape architects and technicians. Oversees, manages, and schedules the development of exterior spaces and physical environments, the development of schematic designs and construction details, and is ultimately responsible for final project. Being a Landscape Architect Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related field. Typically reports to a top management. The Landscape Architect Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Landscape Architect Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Meeting with potential clients to determine the scope of work.
- Performing site analyses that include the assessment of the property. For example, Existing plants. Soil conditions. Lighting, views, and architecture of the home.
- Design functional outdoor spaces.
- Gather property measurements.
- Prepare project estimates.
- Client meetings for design reviews
- Maintain communication throughout the design and installation process with the customer and the Construction Superintendent.
- Solve any problems that arise during installation.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of Landscape Design experience.
- Position requires local plant and construction technique knowledge.
- Experience with the design and installation techniques of hardscapes.
- Experience in measuring property with a high level of detail
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure and still maintain good composure.
- AutoCAD or Dyna-Scape software experience.
- ASPIRE software experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
