JOB OVERVIEW

This position will supervise, train and over the performance of assigned laundry staff ensuring that all procedures are completed to the established standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Supervise staff in the performance of all daily procedures to ensure they are performed to standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies / service procedures / standards.
• Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to assigned staff and review priorities.
• Oversee laundry operations.
• Assist staff with their job functions where needed to ensure optimum laundry operations.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Flexibility.

This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!

Knowledge.

Proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling and usage of equipment.

Great communicator.

Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and through legible writing.

• Must be able to constantly push / pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weight of 50lbs.
• Must be able to occasionally pull linens from washer to dryer with potential weight of 25lbs.
