Lawn Service Manager jobs in Missouri
Lawn Service Manager manages the daily activities of workers engaged in pruning trees and shrubs, cultivating lawns, and applying pesticides and other chemicals according to service contract specifications. Develops and implements policies and procedures for the unit. Being a Lawn Service Manager may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Generally manages a group of nonexempt employees. Additionally, Lawn Service Manager relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a senior manager. Salter Lawn Service is hiring a reliable and experienced Irrigation Technician. The ideal candidate must be able to inspect, audit, adjust, troubleshoot and repair the systems to insure they perform correctly for residential and commercial properties. To ensure success, you should exhibit a strong work ethic and have knowledge of irrigation techniques. This position offers 5 day work week along with health insurance, PTO and matching 401K.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate watering schedules
- Troubleshoot any problems that may arise with system
- Order and install parts
- Understand plants being watered to best determine water rates
- Understand and implement computerized irrigation systems including remote monitoring/control systems
- Provide general oversight of labor crew
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license.
- High School diploma.
- At least 1 year of experience in irrigation or a related occupation is highly recommended.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
