Lean Manufacturing Manager leads and designs Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Manages all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement. Being a Lean Manufacturing Manager employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Manager also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Lean Manufacturing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Lean Manufacturing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Production Coordinator (Food Manufacturing)

    The Production Coordinator will be responsible for making sure there is steady communication between departments (Kitchen, Production & Fulfillment). In addition to communicating between the three departments and Quality Assurance & Food Safety (QA/FS). The Production Coordinator will make departments are following organizational and safety procedures put in place by upper management.


    Essential Functions:

    The Kitchen/Production Coordinator will work closely with department heads from all three departments to make sure all processes are understood and followed.


    The main focus of the Production Coordinator will be between the Kitchen, Production, Fulfillment and QA/FS. Duties include but are not limited to:


    • Coordinating movement of meals from kitchen to the production area and placing them in the correct location

    • Must have knowledge of kitchen production and assembly line.

    • Ensuring proper labeling across departments, organizing meals and ensuring knowledge of production runs

    • Enforcing integrity and maintaining of logs

    • Making sure production is running efficiently and meeting their quotas for the shifts

    • Implementing and enforcing HACCP and GMPs

    • Monitoring, tracking and moving products as required between departments

    • Following testing procedures based on company’s policies and procedures

    • Act as liaison between company and retail partner

    Work Environment:

    While performing the Production Coordinator’s duties, the employee will work in a hot and cold temperature in a kitchen and warehouse environment. 


    Physical Demands:

    While performing the duties of the job, the employee regularly walks, stands and moves for a longer period, use of hands, fingers, talk, hear, operates hand dolly, lift 20-40 pounds and operate other tools to complete the Kitchen/Production Coordinator job duties. 


    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday – Sunday.

    Current schedule is Tuesday – Saturday 6am – 3:30pm. The schedule is subject to change depending on operational needs. Should be able to work weekends and holidays.


    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma/G.E. D/Equivalence 

    • QA experience is a plus 

    • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus


    Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

    Authorized to work in the USA
