Strauss Troy has a need for a full time experienced legal assistant to join our growing practice area in the Covington, KY office. The ideal candidate has great attention to detail, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and will possess the following job requirements listed below.

Job Requirements:

· Ability to work effectively and professionally with attorneys, office staff, clients and outside organizations.

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting attorneys.

· Ability to draft letters, documents, and court forms.

· Good knowledge of English, spelling and punctuation, office practices and procedures.

· Excellent proofreading skills.

· Ability to calendar all hearings, meetings, reminders, deadlines, etc.

· Physical/Electronic File Organization.

· Client Communication.

· Completes tasks promptly with accuracy.

· Front Desk Responsibilities. Greet Clients.

· General administrative duties as needed.

Experience:

• Legal Assistant: 3 years (Required)
• Familiarity with Southern Ohio (Preferred) and Northern Kentucky Courts (Preferred)
• Knowledge of Microsoft products (Required)
• Experience in the legal field: 3 years (Required)
• This is a non-exempt position. Compensation will be based on the successful applicant’s level of experience.
