What You Will Do
• Provide administrative support to Labor & Employment Attorney(s)
• Handle communication with clients, witnesses, etc.
• Administratively support litigation proceedings
• Format and file case briefs
• Create, edit, and file basic legal documents and correspondence
• Maintain contact lists
• Monitor deadlines and maintain calendars
The Skills & Experience You Possess
• Two or more years proven experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in a Labor & Employment practice
• Knowledge of or familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system filing procedures
• Proficiency in legal language, legal documents formatting, Adobe Pro, and Microsoft 365. Proficiency in TABS and iManage (or other document management and time keeping programs) preferred but not required
• Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), time-management and prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to effectively and efficiently complete multiple activities simultaneously and work under pressure with a positive “Can Do” attitude
