Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care jobs in Idaho
Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care administers nursing care in a home care environment under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. What you can expect from this role
- A schedule of Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with rotating weekends
- Freedom to work independently and schedule appointments around your patients' needs, with the understanding that patient care remains the top priority and communication with leadership is maintained
- Deliver compassionate and personalized care to patients in their homes, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting their well-being.
Qualifications
Education
- Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing program
Experience
- 2 years' experience
Certifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the State of Practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
