Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. As a LPN you will work alongside the Director of Nursing/Nurse Managers to provide the best quality care and ensure the safety to our residents: administrating medication administer injections and assist with procedures and documentation, monitoring the resident's vitals. Additionally, provide support and directions to the nursing assistants.
