Job Title: Licensing Manager-Specialist (Corporate)
Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000
Position Summary: The Licensing Manager-Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the corporate licensing process to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies to secure and maintain the necessary licenses for our operations. It is imperative that the Licensing Manager-Specialist be extremely organized, straightforward in their communication, and produce quality work in an efficient manner. Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.

Own all aspects of business planning and zoning, certificates, licenses, insurance, and bonds including performing research, gathering required documentation, and ensuring timely submission of applications and renewals, interfacing with agencies, resolving issues, tracking, monitoring, and routinely updating leadership on all phases for store renewing, opening, closing, and transferring.

Prepare and submit all required renewals, registrations, filings, and reports to their respective regulatory agencies in a timely manner.

Develop and maintain a database of documents required for all jurisdictions of operation while tracking key dates and milestones, perform routine audits to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory changes.

Interface with employees to collect individual information of an extremely confidential and sensitive nature for applying and maintaining licensure.

Monitor all work in process, keep management and respective departments informed on statuses and approaching deadlines; promptly escalate issues to avoid delays and regulatory implications.

Leverage internal and external systems and databases, including NMLS and government specific sites to process and maintain licensure documentation.

Receive and process all licensing correspondence.

File and retrieve corporate documents, contracts, records, and reports.

Maintain organization, auditing, and proper retention, and destruction of department physical and digital records.

Develop and maintain policies and procedures, working instructions, and process documentation to ensure DLC is in full compliance with all regulations.

Notarize documents as required.

Maintain compliance with DLC policies and procedures in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations.

Manage confidential information.

Regular and consistent attendance.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and/or 3 years related experience.

Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal regulations governing licensing for financial services.

Experience with NMLS, licensing management software and related tools.

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Proactive self-starter and problem solver.

Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.

Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:

Compliance certifications such as CRCM are a plus.

Conceptual understanding of corporate entity and ownership structures.
