Position Summary
Responsible for providing clerical support for all consumer and mortgage loan processing activities. Receives, evaluates and reviews loan applications. Obtains and verifies necessary information and prepares all documents necessary for closing mortgage and home equity loans. Distributes loans to branches, and coordinates and assists with loan closings. Types and handles miscellaneous paperwork including denial letters. Maintains files and answers and directs telephone calls. Provides professional service to members.
Qualifications/Experience- At least two years of related experience in Mortgage Loan Processing or the equivalent.
- Understanding of loan products and services.
- Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures.
- Understanding of mortgage loan processing functions.
