About The Role
Are you passionate about financial solutions and building positive relationships? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Loan Workout Specialist. In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of credit relationships, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to develop effective strategies. Responsibilities- Manage a diverse portfolio of loans, including SBA and government guaranteed loans.
- Review loan documentation and financial statements to assess risk and repayment capacity.
- Develop and implement effective workout and liquidation strategies to mitigate risk and maximize recovery.
- Adhere to compliance guidelines and maintain constructive interaction with regulators.
- Collaborate with professionals such as appraisers and real estate brokers to optimize collateral value.
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the department.
- Periodically travel to meet with clients or assess collateral.
- Participate in community service activities and asset quality reviews.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Four to five years of relevant experience in financial statement analysis and bankruptcy/workout.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Knowledge of commercial credit products, loan documentation, and compliance.
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Familiarity with SBA procedures and Key Bank policies.
- Timely and accurate reporting.
- Deadline-oriented with the ability to prepare concise write-ups.
- Strong adherence to compliance procedures.
- Ability to assess risk and negotiate deals effectively.
- Base salary range: $77,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience.
- Eligibility for short-term and deferred incentive compensation.
