We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locksmith Store Technician to join our team, however we are willing to train the right candidate. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks and security systems. Your expertise in locksmithing will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties. We are seeking someone who can be cross trained to work in the store and in the field when needed. You will need to have secretarial, clerical, or administrative experience. We are looking for somone who thrives in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and replace locks and security systems
- Cut new or duplicate keys using key-cutting machines
- Cut and program car keys
- Open locked doors, safes, or vehicles using specialized tools and techniques
- Assess security needs and recommend appropriate locking systems
- Provide emergency lockout services to clients
- Maintain accurate records of all locksmithing activities
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in locksmithing technology and techniques
- Answer customer calls
- Invoicing/Billing
- Ability to learn and handle multiple systems
- Proficient in computers
- Excellent communication and superb customer service skills
- Ability to learn quickly with the desire for continued learning
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Locksmith or similar role
