Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000-$75,000 yearly income

Requirements:

• Ability to work 3-4 weeks straight with normal shift rotations
• Excellent Communication skills
• Ability to self-manage
• Reliable Mode of transportation
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
• Basic Computer proficiency
• We are unable to sponsor visas at this time
• Associates Degree or Higher in Geology, Earth Sciences or Engineering or prior experience mud logging is helpful

Job description:

• Rig up/ Rig down
• Collect drilling cuttings from shaker
• Analyze cuttings under microscope for lithology, mineralogy, hydrocarbons etc.
• Update logging software with data obtained through analysis
• Gas monitoring for over-pressured formations
• Routine equipment maintenance and calibrations
• Daily updates to Operations Geologist

Job locations are primarily in western Texas
