Position: DFS Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities:
Operations:
· Ability to direct a team of drivers and build relations quickly.
· Ability to go into the field and perform Safe Work Habit Audits.
· Ability to go into the field and perform Space and Visibility rides.
· Develop and submit to management a detailed daily delivery plan of fleet vehicle availability, staff assignments, and other resources to ensure all deliveries are completed successfully while maximizing fleet capacity and maintaining efficient routing.
· Supervise and observe the loading of trucks to confirm conformance to freight pulls, prevent product damage, and ensure the safe operation of the technicians.
· Train and enforce quality control standards that align with company safety programs.
· Coordinate fuel needs and preventative maintenance for vehicle fleet
· Regularly inspect all vehicles to ensure proper usage and care by Technicians and recommend corrective action as needed. Secure estimates for any vehicle repairs.
· Responsible for overseeing deliveries made 6 days a week.
· Must be able to communicate with the stores to provide the best customer service experience.
Routing:
· Assist with opening driving routes daily.
· Monitoring drivers and their routes.
· Ability to use routing software.
· Ability to route daily stops per day.
· Schedule and confirm delivery teams daily.
· Proficient with mapping locations and giving directions.
· Communicate with drivers and contact customers when required.
· Implement tasks, create reports, assist with daily operational needs, and complete assignments at General Manager’s direction.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in Operations and/or Logistics Management/Transportation
· Preferred deep understanding and knowledge of the home appliance industry, including installation.
· Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field preferred/experience.
· Preferred fluency in Spanish.
· Excellent communication and time management skills desired.
· Ability to follow written, verbal, and telephonic instructions.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Must be a team player.
· Must be a problem solver.
· Must have a good attitude.
