Machine Operator Supervisor jobs in Michigan

Grand Traverse Machine is seeking an individual experienced CNC Lathe or Mill Operator
with Quality Assurance Inspector experience on our 1st shift. Full-time, Monday – Friday

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR CNC LATHE AND CNC MILL OPERATOR:

1 years experience running CNC Lathe or CNC Milling equipment

Ability to read part prints and follow job instructions
Ability to use precision gauging equipment with limited training
Ability to work in a fast paced environment safely and with high quality

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR QA INSPECTOR:

Have hands-on shop floor experience and be able to:

Interpret machine tool prints (GD&T knowledge a plus),

Set up and use all traditional machinist gages including dial, vernier and digital types.

(Prior Quality Control experience helpful).
Check parts to prints.

Have excellent communication skills – verbal, written, listening – are a must. Position requires a strong work ethic and high standards for quality, organization and workmanship.
