Portfolio & Delivery Management (PDM) is responsible for building and sustaining enhanced capabilities that support efficient management and execution of the Enterprise Marketing portfolio. PDM drives operational efficiency and excellence in execution by building, using and monitoring processes and tools that optimize the way that the Enterprise Marketing organization works.
This role will be a part of the Portfolio & Delivery Management Team reporting to the Director, Marketing Program Delivery. This role will serve as a liaison between Business Partners, Marketing Strategy, Executive Leadership and Internal/External Creative Agencies to drive efficient and effective execution of work while ensuring that there is visibility to the on-going status of the programs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage multiple concurrent high visibility workstreams and scopes across the Enterprise.
• Oversee all aspects of projects: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, assessing and mitigating risks, closing
• Lead status meetings with C-suite and executive level leadership: capture, store, and distribute meeting notes
• Drive productive and value driven conversations with C-suite executives
• Be a point of escalation for all issues and changes to existing plans. Develop risk logs, mitigation plans and manage communication of such to executive leadership.
• Build strong “trusted advisor” relationships with Executives and Business Partners across the organization to ensure that marketing programs for the Enterprise meet deadlines.
• Build rapport and respect with stakeholders to impact and influence outcomes beneficial to the business and the project.
• Lead collaborative planning efforts with internal and external resources to deliver work that is on-time and on-budget.
• Ability to manage a program budget, including collaboration with enterprise finance teams.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
• 7 years of program/portfolio and project management experience
• Strong project/program management, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Experience working in creative marketing agencies or marketing organizations – understands marketing workflow and skillsets.
• Experience working with C-suite executives
• Effective multi-tasking skills with proven ability to support multiple programs/initiatives for multiple stakeholders while effectively managing conflicting priorities
• Ability to work well in a fast-changing environment.
• Excellent, proven organizational skills, including strong attention to detail and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in all aspects of project management process groups (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, closing)
