Job Description:

• The Account Manager for IT Managed Services is a dual role across current customer retention and new customer sales.
• Work with current clients to ensure service delivery is meeting expectations. Field client requests for assistance and direct to appropriate technical resources.
• Perform periodic evaluations of current clients IT environments and potential improvements or changes required. 
• Business development and new sales with primarily local customers in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. Direct outreach through email, cold calling, and warm introductions.
• Develop a pipeline through a CRM with potential new customers. 
• Build client quotes based on current and anticipated needs. Dynamically understand pricing and cost options across tools used for end clients. 
  

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a blue sky environment to help improve the sales and customer success function in the IT MSP department
  
• Must understand how to use a CRM and quoting systems efficiently 
• San Antonio-based and ability to travel to client sites across the city
  
• Familiarity with the technologies and services IT Managed Service Providers typically provide (software licenses, network, VOIP, etc.)
• 2 years of direct sales experience; sales in an MSP specifically preferred
