Crane Equipment Manufacturing Corporation, manufacturer of Grizzly Cranes, under NEW ownership/management, is a well-established heavy equipment component and attachment manufacturer rebuild and repair facility since 1977.

We are offering a great opportunity with on the job training for a career in manufacturing, starting as a shop hand. Environment offers multiple areas to excel in a job shop atmosphere. The opportunity for growth is limitless, offering on the job training in heavy equipment painting, hydraulics, machining, electrical, welding etc.

Willing to hire on entry level, but also willing to pay more for experienced worker.

The position being offered is full time, Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:30pm, with one hour of overtime each day. We are looking for long term employees.

Responsibilities and Duties but not limited to:

• On the job training in painting, hydraulics, welding etc.
• Cleaning parts
• Tearing apart and rebuilding cylinders/gear boxes/valves/pumps
• Learning and ordering parts and re-stocking
• General labor
• Checking in parts and putting away
• Packing and shipping
• Yard/Building Maintenance
• Shop Clean-up
• Operating Forklift
• Running Errands

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 75 pounds required (overhead cranes are provided through out shop & forklifts)
• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time
• Must be able to move quickly to stay out of hazardous situations
• Ability to handle a fast paced, high intensity work place with constant adversity
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week
• Ability to move safely up and down ladders
