Manufacturing Manager jobs in Maryland

Overview:

Manufacturing company specializing in high end finishes for commercial office buildings (custom interior wall panel systems & components) currently seeking well-qualified candidates for an assistant woodshop management position with room for advancement.

Applicants MUST HAVE the skills needed to read and interpret engineering drawings, create material order sheets and cut sheets, and produce finished products with precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Reading Blueprints, Cut Sheets, Layout Drawings.
• Strong supervisory skills to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Experience using wood shop production tools and equiptment.
• Excellent math skills for accurate calculations and reporting.
• CNC programing and/or basic computer drafting.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• CNC Router programming and operation
• Wood prep and finishing (stain & lacquer)
• Edge banding machine setup and operation
• Thermo foil setup and operation
• Cutting mitering and creating custom wood frames and trim.
• Experience laying up general-purpose laminates (Formica, Wilsonart, Pionite, Etc.)
• Experience working with solid surface products such as Corian
• Knowledge of acrylics, resins, and epoxy

This is not an entry-level position, only skilled applicants will be considered.

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. (Monday - Thursday 6am till 4:30pm)
