Organized, strong leader, innovative, mentor, next-level customer service, & highly skilled are all traits of this valued team leader. The individual in this role will provide strong leadership to current IT support staff while at the same time defining OLM's future infrastructure environment. By analyzing metrics and understanding OLM's internal processes, the IT Manager will create higher efficiency in both support and performance while shaping the role of IT in OLM's corporate environment. This position will require providing the highest level of customer support to all internal users.
Essential Functions:

Direct hiring, management, and training of multiple skill level IT staff.

Install and troubleshoot of Infrastructure, Network and Applications.

Timely organize business requirements.
- Gather and manage all IT change requests.

Manage all aspects of desktop support including building, deployment, provisioning, and decommissioning.

Supervise external third-party support for leased printers.
-
Deploy and troubleshoot 8X8 software solutions.
-
Prepare users by conducting training, providing information, and resolving problems.

Execute backup/restore & DR procedures utilizing products such as VEEAM.
-
Support, coach, and provide leadership/feedback/direction to technical services specialists.

Provide technical consulting services to departments/organizations regarding use of computers and networks to satisfy business needs.

Maintain primary ownership of all metrics and SLAs related to the service desk for internal and external support requests.

Document issues and solutions within a SharePoint/Microsoft Teams environment.

Perform software installations, configuration, and support of multiple applications through software management services.

Assist with customer and vendor interaction.
- Analyze system logs, identify potential issues with systems, and implement improvements.

Management of infrastructure cabling
- Install and manage physical security systems including badge readers and surveillance equipment.

On call support management and participation.

Experienced and knowledgeable in ITILv4 principals, as well as information security for the enterprise.

Take ownership of special IT projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Education and Experience. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Computer Science; or 3 to 6 years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Communication/Language Skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are a must. Ability to read and comprehend documents, advanced technical specifications, and defined configurations. The ability to show empathy and provide excellent customer service is a must.
- Strong people management and mentorship skills
• Technical Competencies. Experience & knowledge in MS Office products (Excel & Word), advanced knowledge of Windows Server/desktop Operating Systems with PowerShell Scripting; advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networks • and configuration/ experience managing server virtualization technologies such as VMWare Server/ESX or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual Server and Azure. Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Management of company wide inventory; Management of IT Service Desk Software(ManageEngine SDP)
- Management of L1-3 support for all enterprise applications.
- Understanding of the principles and management of wireless technologies.
- Management and understanding of large-scale video recording and storage at scale for a manufacturing company.
- Background supporting enterprise telephony, specifically 8x8. Unified Call Center as a service.
- Mathematical Skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts and perform essential math functions.
- Reasoning Abilities. Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities.
