Description:
The Cheese & Deli Assistant Manager is responsible for bringing their skills in purchasing, inventory management, production, and supervision to the Cheese & Deli Department at Plum Market. They will model and provide exceptional Customer Service, assure that the department is adequately stocked with all items, and consistently hit margin targets. They report to the Cheese & Deli Team Leader, and will assist in the department performing all tasks as needed.

Ability to collaborate closely with Team Leader on any and all issues related to purchasing, project execution, and conditions on the sales floor.
Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break – we work on the floor, and alongside our team.
Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
