Current Job Opening (Great Falls): Clinical Research Assistant

Candidate is responsible for identifying eligible patients for research and ensuring research protocols are carried out accurately through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. Collaborates with Principal Investigator (PI) to recruit, enroll, and monitor research studies alongside our Clinical Research Coordinators in Great Falls, MT

Position Summary:

Our ideal candidate is someone who is very detailed, organized, computer savvy, a quick learner, and interested in expanding their medical knowledge and advancing into Research.

Compensation/Benefits: Part Time/Flex Position- 24-32 hours flex up to 40 as needed. Competitive salary. Potential for earned benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in CRC role as primary when primary CRC is out
• Recruit and screen patients for eligibility for current studies based on established protocols
• Monitor subject’s progress and report adverse events as required per protocol
• Collects data on research participants
• Manage Research Data Bases
• Maintain Clinical Trial Management System
• Assist in conducting site visits with monitor
• Assist in communicating with sponsor
• Serves as a liaison to physicians, investigators, patients and other staff members regarding the research process and individual protocols
• Strategizes and helps troubleshoot to correct problems
• Escalates issues as needed to supervisor/Primary CRC

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years relevant professional experience in lieu of degree/2 years of education and relevant/medical work experience will also be qualified
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc) / Google Docs
• Have a true passion to work in Clinical Trials and teach people about options available to them to participate
• Comfortable with technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in research
• Phlebotomy
• Familiarity with medical terminology/HIPPAA
• Familiarity with FDA/ICH regulations

Required Skills:

• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Quick and eager learner
• Ability to work independently
• Strong critical thinking
• Excellent oral and written communication

Preferred Skills:

• 2 years of experience in related field (MA, CNA, Phlebotomy)
• Working knowledge of research methodology/medical terminology
