Job Summary This role is expected to evolve and would be a good fit for a high performer who is looking to take on more and quickly grow into a larger position. Our office is located in West Jordan, Utah. We offer hybrid flexibility, with 3 Days in-office. The first month of training will require work in the office. General schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Primary Responsibilities: Month-End Close: Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve any outstanding issues and finalize financial results for reporting. Serve as the primary point of contact for the parent company regarding accounting and financial matters. Journal Entry Management: Develop and maintain robust processes for journal entry preparation, review, and approval. Ensure adherence to accounting principles and internal controls in recording financial transactions. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal control processes to safeguard and ensure the integrity of company financial data. Accounts Payable Management: Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations. Billing and Invoicing: Direct the billing process to ensure accurate and timely invoicing of customers, including proper documentation and adherence to contractual terms. Payroll Assistance: Provide support in the payroll review process by collaborating with HR and finance teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Reconciliations: Monthly bank reconciliations against commissions and revenues paid to the company. Primary Skills & Requirements: Required: Bachelor’s Degree, in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Preferred System Experience: NetSuite, Bill/Coupa, and Concur. Minimum of 1-year financial experience required, 3 YRS Preferred Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with functions such as pivot tables, v-lookups, macros, etc. Data analysis, financial reporting, data modeling, and/or account payable experience Strong attention to detail, good problem-solving, and advanced analytical skills Excellent communication skills, articulate, and professional demeanor Motivated team player with strong organizational skills, ability to learn quickly and work on their own initiative with a high bias for action and accountability Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively About Integrity Integrity is one of the nation’s leading independent distributors of life, health and wealth insurance products.
