The Management Analyst position is with the SD Department of Labor and Regulation Reemployment Assistance Division. They will work in a typical office environment. Occasional travel will be required for trainings, meetings, etc. Out of state travel may be required at times, as well. The Management Analyst will monitor, collect, and analyze existing Reemployment Assistance data and report on key findings and trends. Utilizing data, this individual would work closely with management and staff on researching and implementing various projects and changes to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the department.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A strong data analysis background and self-motivation to produce quality results. They will work equally well in an individual or team setting. They will be comfortable communicating with others either verbally and through email and other electronic means. They will have a strong understanding of how data is stored and the tools that can be used to retrieve and manipulate it. Experience with using Microsoft Office Products such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Power BI is a plus. A college degree is preferred but not required.
