Job Description:
The Materials Management Supervisor supervises the daily operations of Materials Management by initiating, coordinating, enforcing operational, personnel policies, and procedures. Essential responsibilities include:
- Provides leadership for the Materials & Gowning Personnel and monitoring and appraising job results.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse areas by planning for proper cGMP capacity, frequent inspection of equipment and area, issuing work orders for repair if necessary.
- Budgets and controls expenditures in all related functions, including capital equipment requests.
- Provide leadership in implementing process improvements.
- Maintain robust weekly cycle count program in warehouse and manufacturing product staging areas. Drives accuracy and robustness of inventory control practices in manufacturing.
- Develop business processes and SOPs for the execution of warehousing/gowning processes, compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Interact with management, production supervision and other staff regarding materials requirements, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
- Provides for safe working conditions and practices in all areas of departmental control.
- Compile inventory reports and performance metrics and reporting them to management as required.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local warehousing, material handling requirements.
- Responsible for providing both regulatory and client tours during audits and for being relied upon as the area expert in dealing with questions during client or regulatory audits.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree required or 10 years of related experience (direct supervisory management and on the job experience) in lieu of a degree with a high school diploma or equivalent still required.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience (variety of technical operating systems and warehouse related equipment).
- Supervisory experience required.
- ERP operating system/concept understand required.
- Lead experience desired.
- Pharmaceutical and FDA Regulated Industry experience desired.
- SAP experience desired.
Shift: Day
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $67,725 - $88,814 depending on experience.
