We are seeking a driven, hard-working, and competitive Business Development Representative to join us at Diray Media. In the BDR role, you will make cold calls and email prospective clients. You will also participate in social selling and networking. Success in this role will be demonstrated by developing and implementing strategies to increase sales qualified leads (SQLs), expand the customer base, and boost revenue.
Responsibilities
· Performs high-level discovery outbound calls
· Conducts deep market research to identify key players, competitive insights, consumer behavior, and market trends
· Facilitates outbound email campaigns
· Facilitates outbound LinkedIn campaigns
· Schedules appointments for sales
· Attends conferences and events to help generate new leads
· Utilizes sales tools to give detailed information to prospective clients
· Assists in defining sales initiatives
· Coordinates with the appropriate sales rep for qualified business opportunities
· Ensures alignment with overall sales strategies
Qualifications
· 2-5 years of business development or sales experience preferred
· Advertising Agency/Marketing/Media experience strongly preferred
· Working knowledge of outbound lead generation and CRM tools or similar applications
· Knowledge of business processes and sales techniques preferred
· Proficient in MS Office
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across departments.
· Bachelor’s degree
· Hybrid preferred, but remote is possible for the right candidate
