Covering for a team member on parental leave (for two years), you’ll work as a highly motivated Communications Specialist for Media Relations at the interface between our client-facing business and the public in external communication at BCG. In doing so, you’ll successfully turn complex content into understandable and engaging media stories. At the same time, you’ll support the dialogue between journalists and BCG experts through our good network in editorial offices and your own media contacts.
With the capability to develop concepts and media pitches relevant to all our CE markets, you’ll be responsible for the conceptual planning and implementation of media relations work in the German market. In this context, you'll launch company-relevant topics and studies in business and trade media, particularly in climate & sustainability, industrial goods, energy, and the public sector. You’ll act as a contact for media inquiries from journalists and for BCG’s senior management in their dealings with media representatives. Your area of responsibility will also include conceptualizing and organizing press events and preparing and supporting interviews with BCG senior management. As part of your role, you’ll maintain and broaden BCG's contact with journalists and editorial offices. In addition to monitoring and analyzing press reports, you’ll identify relevant business topics, trends, rankings, and surveys.
