Overview:

Advance Orthotic Prosthetic Services is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and coding, ensuring accurate and timely submission of medical claims.

Duties:

- Utilize medical billing systems to submit and follow up on claims
- Review and process medical billing records
- Assign appropriate medical codes using ICD-10 coding systems
- Maintain patient accounts, including billing inquiries and payment collections
- Collaborate with medical staff to clarify diagnoses or obtain additional information
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in medical terminology ICD-10 coding
- Experience in medical billing and coding
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and electronic health records
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
